My Trading Wish List

December 22, 2015

It's nearly Christmas! I have a number of items on my Christmas wish list, I also have a separate wish list for my trading activities, these are things I hope to purchase sometime in 2016. I have included relevant links to the products to provide a bit more detail...

A Steve Nison Trading Book

I have read a lot of trading books, enough to possibly fill a book case. Though I have purchased and read various trading books, I have never read any of Steve Nison's publications. 'Japanese Candlestick Charting Techniques: A Contemporary Guide to the Ancient Charting Techniques of the Far East' is by far his most popular publication. In 2016 I plan to purchase and read at least one of his books!

A Multiple Monitor Stand

I currently have 6 monitors that I use for my day trading and swing trading activities. I started with a single laptop and have customised my work-space as my trading equipment has multiplied. To date, I have never purchased a multiple monitor stand for any of my monitors, I currently have something simple that I put together myself. There are numerous sites that offer professional looking and robust multiple monitor stands, Amazon offers a good selection too.

A High Quality Sound System

This may not seem very trading related but I love to listen to music while I trade, it helps to keep me focused and motivated. I do have remote speakers that I currently use but I want something with higher quality audio. Our new home has an office built to the side of the house, this will soon be my working and trading space, giving even more reason to have something big to play my music on. I like the look of this Bose SoundTouch20 Music System, click here for Amazon UK or click here for Amazon US.

A Super Computer

I don't need a high grade computer to run any of my trading software, most charting platforms and execution software works fine on a standard laptop! But I would like something that has the capabilities to operate multiple monitors, my current setup uses more than one computer to run all 6 monitors. www.multiplemonitors.co.uk has some great deals.

Trading Merchandise (I'm not kidding!)

This is where the geek in me comes out! Nothing on my trading wish list is essential, I have been trading well without any of the items on this list. Trading merchandise is far from necessary but some of it is pretty cool... Check out these t-shirts at cafepress!
